Day Two - At Sea

We departed San Francisco late Sunday evening and I'm afraid I was fast asleep when we passed under The Golden Gate Bridge so was unable to capture that beautiful icon for you all. In 2011 I was aboard another Oceania vessel as it went passed the Rock of Gibraltar. Where was I? Fast asleep, of course. Still hate that I missed capturing them for my travel albums.

The Pacific has been a wee bit choppy. Not too bad but enough for the now familiar "Careful of the motion of the ocean" warning to be broadcast, barf bags to be discreetly placed here and there, just in case, and at the Captain's Welcome Aboard Cocktail Party, a new fashion trend started. Many of us wore our "formal" sneakers. Much better to be safe than fashionable.
